"This is what you envision as a little kid,” said Price of going against a host of Cy Young Award contenders. “It definitely feels better when you can go out there and pitch well against a good team, and they have their No. 1 guy going as well."

So, we went into the top of ninth with one hit and a 2 run deficit against the AL Cy Young winner.

We came out of it with a 2 run lead.

This is what I like to see.

"David Price's commercial adventure"

battingcleanup:

Rays LHP David Price was obviously excited to be in Los Angeles on Tuesday filming a TV commercial for the MLB2K12 video game, with other big-leaguers Justin Verlander, Jay Bruce and C.J. Wilson. And, apparently, model Kate Upton.

Price posted several photos on his Twitter account @DAVIDPrice14, and had a little fun with more-famous teammate Evan Longoria: “Gettin my @Evan3Longoria on today!! Commercial time!! Evan-147806 commercials Me-1!!!! I’ll take it!! Hopefully I don’t get camera shy.”

Congrats to Shieldsy for finishing third in the AL Cy Young race on Tuesday.
Tigers Verlander took first and the Angels Weaver finished in second.
The top-five finish increased Shields’ 2012 option $500,000 to $8 million.
